Privacy policy.

1. Who we are

Crate Innovation operates this website at crateinnovation.co.uk. For enquiries about privacy or your personal data, please email info@crateinnovation.co.uk.

2. What information we collect

If you use our contact form, we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, email address, company name, area of interest and the message you send. Our hosting provider may also process technical information, such as IP addresses and access logs, to operate and secure the website.

3. How and why we use your information

We use enquiry information to respond to your message, discuss your requirements and, where relevant, take steps requested before entering into a service agreement. Our lawful basis will generally be our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries or taking steps at your request before a contract.

Submitting a contact form does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. If we introduce newsletters or promotional email subscriptions, we will provide a separate explanation and any required choice.

4. Service providers, third parties and security

We may use hosting and email service providers to operate the website and deliver your enquiry to our business inbox. These providers may process information on our behalf or as independent providers under their own applicable terms. We do not sell personal information.

The site requests its display fonts from Google Fonts. When your browser downloads these fonts, technical data including your IP address may be shared with Google. You can read Google's privacy information at policies.google.com/privacy.

We take reasonable steps to protect personal data, but no online transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

5. How long we keep information

We retain enquiry records only for as long as reasonably required to handle your request, manage any resulting business relationship, and comply with applicable record-keeping or legal obligations. The relevant period depends on the nature of the enquiry and any subsequent services.

6. Your data protection rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to access, correct or erase your data, object to or restrict processing, or request data portability. If you believe your data protection rights have not been respected, you can raise a concern with the UK's Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We use an essential PHP session cookie to support contact-form security, and your browser may store a preference about whether to show our cookie information notice. We do not currently set marketing or analytics cookies. Read our Cookie Policy for details.

8. Questions or changes

For privacy questions or rights requests, contact info@crateinnovation.co.uk. We may revise this policy when our services, website technologies or legal obligations change. The current version was prepared in November 2026.
